The 1.0L EcoBoost engine is found in common vehicles like Ford Fiesta, Puma, Focus & B-Max 2012 onwards - The replacement interval time is 10 years. Its notorious for wet belt wear around 60,000 - 80,000
FORD 2.0 EcoBlue
The 2.0L EcoBlue engine is found in many Ford vans including Transit, Custom and the Tourneo - The interval replacement is 100,000 miles or 6 years but can fail earlier (often due to poor servicing)
PSA 1.2 PureTech
The 1.2 PureTech engine is found in many Citroen & Peugeot models including 208, C3, 308, C4. Prone to swelling and tooth shedding after 50,000-75,000 miles. Interval reduced to 60,000 or 6 years

They are prevelant in small displacement engines from european manufacturers, particularly from 2012 onwards. However they ofter wear prematurely due to oil contamination, leading to belt degradation.
